Magical woods

November Sundays don’t come much more beautiful than this one.

We loaded the children into the car, armed ourselves with cameras of many descriptions, and tea-making equipment, and off we went.

And it was beautiful.

We even saw a muntjac deer, which hurtled out of a bush in front of us, scrabbled to a terrified halt and crashed back the way it had come.

Priceless.

  1. Oh Alice, how beautiful ! I love that you take your children out into the natural world so much – even though we live in such a lovely place we’re always pleased to see families out together because it’s relatively unusual. Sharing our love of beauty and knowledge of nature is one of the most important things we can give our children and ourselves (and it costs nothing!) M x

    • Not often enough with the logistical shenanigans of my gang and set-up…
But it is *always* worth the effort (equivalent to mobilising a small army) πŸ˜‰
And boy! was it beautiful that day! xxx
